I am a Laotian-American San Diego native who recently graduated from UCSD with both a major in Cognitive Science (Design and Interaction) and a minor in Digital Video and Film Production. Having graduated at the end of March (2022), my desire is to pursue a career within the film industry--specifically, in video editing.
For many years now, the Marvel and Star Wars movie franchises are among my favorites for their storytelling and technical inspiration. Additionally, my interests include animation and a passion for filmmaking in general. As a result of being immersed in both the Marvel and Star Wars universes, due to viewing many of the "behind-the-scenes" documentaries, I am inspired to create stories that influence others in a hopeful and positive manner--as has been done for me.
In an effort to gain broad knowledge to determine an area of future specialization, it seems fitting to participate in a wide range of video projects--be they short promo videos or longer narratives--to arrive at a great fit for the associated stage of my professional development.
